Geothermal Rising today announced the inaugural winners of the Geothermal Rising Tech Awards

HOUSTON, TX, UNITED STATES, September 10, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- September 23, 2026 — Geothermal Rising today announced the inaugural winners of the Geothermal Rising Tech Awards, recognizing technologies tackling some of the industry’s most important challenges, from drilling and reservoir development to efficiency, cost reduction, and project scalability.

Presented during the 50th Geothermal Rising Conference in Houston, the inaugural awards highlight the growing wave of technology and innovation helping expand where and how geothermal energy can be developed.

The inaugural Tech Awards winners will be recognized during the Honors and Awards Ceremony on Tuesday, September 22.The awards recognize innovators whose technologies demonstrate the potential to improve geothermal development, reduce costs and risks, increase efficiency, and unlock new opportunities across the industry.

Award recipients were selected based on Commerciality (30%), Technical Novelty (30%), Technology Readiness Level (TRL) (20%), ESG (15%), and Industry Support/Presentation (5%),
