California multimillionaire Marty O’Donnell is leaving Nevada yet again as he has finally found a convention where his full-throated support for Donald Trump’s cost-raising agenda is welcome. As Trump leaves working families struggling to pay for groceries, gas, health care, and housing, Republicans are throwing themselves a $40 million extravaganza in Texas — and O’Donnell has been selected to speak at it. With Trump’s approval rating at historic lows and Las Vegas gas prices at record highs, O’Donnell’s decision to take the national stage alongside Trump makes clear that he is doubling down on his own call to be a “reinforcement” for Trump in Congress.
